Hubert Ivan Riley, Jr., 76, of Lynchburg, departed this life on Monday, November 5, 2018 with his family by his side. He was the husband of Jeannie Riley for 34 years.
Born Tuesday, February 10, 1942 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Hubert I. Riley, Sr. and the late Mary Powell Riley.
Hubert retired from Flowserve after 42 years of service and was a member of Amelon United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, Jeannie, he is survived by his son, Patrick Riley (Kelly), daughters; Elizabeth White (Mac), Kelly Cyrus (Wayne), a step-son, Danny Brown (Claire), eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and an aunt, Betty Smith.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, 220 Breezewood Drive, Lynchburg.
A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Spring Hill Cemetery.
