Hubert Ollie Wills

Hubert O. Wills, 93, of Roanoke passed away at Raleigh Court Health & Rehab on Tuesday, December 4, 2018.

 

Born in Bedford County on March 20, 1925, he was the son of the late Charlie and Bertha Wills.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Irene Eckart and brother, George Wills.

 

Hubert retired from the Roanoke Coca Cola Bottling Company after 38 years of employment.  He was a charter member of the North Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church.

 

Hubert is survived by his son: Stacey Wills (Cheri) of Bedford; daughter: Tracey Criss (Glenn) of Roanoke; 4 grandchildren: Stacey Wills (Courtney), Ashley Wills (Tyler), Lindsay Boyer of Bedford, and Jordan Criss of Roanoke; and 6 greatgrandchildren.

 

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2018 at Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem conducted by Pastor Andrew Raduly. The family will receive friends  Thursday at Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

 

The family wishes to express their appreciation to Raleigh Court Health & Rehab, Medi Home Care Hospice, and Drs. Chris Wood and James Franko of Carilion Clinic for their kind, compassionate care.

 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the North Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church, 4700 North Ridge Lane Roanoke Va. 24019 to the Benevolence Fund.
