Imani Rose Lotts

Imani Rose Lotts, our little angel, slipped into her heavenly sleep on Saturday, October 5, 2024. She was born on August 22, 2024, to Marquise Tavon Lotts and Desirea Chanelle Wilson.

Although our little angels time here on earth was short, her love will forever be in our hearts. She entered this world with a stubborn triumphant entry just like her mother. She loved punching and kicking, but most especially when getting her diaper changed or getting dressed. She knew that each week she got older, it was time for “Mama C” to dress her up and take her picture and thanks to “Mama C” she had the wardrobe of a queen. Above all else, she enjoyed being the heart and joy of her family. 

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her “Mama C”, Chasity Douglas; grandfather, Antoine Wilson; grandparents, Adam Lotts and Margaret Brown; great-grandparents, “PawPaw” Robert Douglas and “Nanny” Peggy Douglas, Eddie Otey, and Margaret Brown; uncles, Adam N. Lotts, Amarii Lotts, and Elijah Hampton; aunts, Takiya Brown, Aleah Lotts, Neveah Lotts, and Bella Mays; and a host of other loving family members.

A celebration of our angels life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church, Big Island, Va. Interment will be held at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens, Lexington, Va. The family will receive friends following the services at the Buena Vista Fire Department at 2:00 p.m.
