Irene Elizabeth Juliano, 65, of Forest, Va., a fun-loving homemaker who was dedicated to her family, died Monday at home.
Born and raised Irene Elizabeth Esposito in South Beach, Mrs. Juliano lived in New Springville for 25 years, before moving to Spring, Texas, in 1992. She relocated to Forest eight months ago.
A New Dorp High School graduate, she worked as a secretary at a steamship company in Manhattan before leaving the workforce to become a homemaker.
She was creative and enjoyed drawing and painting in watercolors. She also enjoyed shopping for antiques and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Juliano is survived by her son, Dennis Shannon; her daughter, Suzanne Vasquenz; her mother, Norma Esposito; her brother, Louis Esposito; her fiancé, Kevin Goodman; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
The funeral will be Tuesday from the A. Azzara Funeral Home, with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary R.C. Church, both in South Beach. Burial will follow in Moravian Cemetery, New Dorp.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
