Jack Randolph Price 93, of Monroe, died Tuesday, January 15, 2019. He was the loving husband, Juanita Iseman Price, for 72 years.
Born on September 21, 1925 in Amherst County, Jack was a son of the late William Wharton Price and the late Jeanette Lovelace Reynolds Price.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by, six sisters, five brothers, and his daughter in-law, Glenna Price
In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by two sons, James Woodrow Price, and Jackie Glenn Price and his wife, Joy, a brother Donald Price, five grandchildren, Sara J. Price, Tara P. Tyree and her husband, Michael, Jeffrey B. Price and his wife, Laura, Ashley K. Price, and Jeanette Price and her husband, Robert Ratliff., and six great grandchildren.
Jack was a christian man who loved his wife and family. He and Juanita ran a grocery store in Madison Heights for many years. He was a business man, but farming was his passion, he loved the land. He also loved his dog Molly.
A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 18, 2019, at Bethany UMC, Monroe, with Pastor Roger Powell officiating.
