Jackson Hager

Jackson Clerf Hager, 83, of Forest, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013. He was the husband of Patricia Carpenter Hager.

Mr. Hager was born May 26, 1929, a son of the late Albert Hager and Nannie Hoosier Hager. He was an engineer with General Electric and served his country in the United States Air force.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Jack Hager and his wife, Bonnie, Debra Lusk, Donna Brown and her husband, Mike, and , his grandchildren Brandy Phillips and her husband, Daniel, Erin and Jacob Heltzel, Katherine Lusk, Mally Lusk, Kristen Brown, Garrett Brown, great grandchildren; Benjamin Phillips, and Lucas Jackson Phillips arriving soon. A devoted niece Angelia and husband Alfred Copley., He leaves behind his devoted dogs: Skoche and Joey.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Tharp Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Lynchburg Humane Society, 3305 Naval Reserve Road, Lynchburg, VA 24501.
