Jackson Lafayette Howell Aliff

\"For God so loved the world, He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life.\"

On February 4, 2013, Jackson Lafayette Howell Aliff received his healing from Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia and Pulmonary Hypertension. Waiting at Heaven\"™s gates for Jackson with open arms were his great Papaws; Edward Jackson \"Jack\" Craig, Walter Lafayette Henley, and Robert Curtis Howell,; his Nan Nan Evelyn Mae Gray Aliff; Ne Ne Juanita Hawkins Craig, his little baby aunt or uncle; great uncle Jerry; and so many other loved ones that went on before. On September 27, 2012, God blessed Jake and Cheyenne Aliff with their little fighter, Jackson. He brought so much love and faith to this world when he was born and touched so many lives as people all over the world fell in love with and prayed for him every day. He could melt your heart instantly with those baby blue eyes and eyebrows that he talked with. He had so much fight in him and it was evident every day. Jackson was truly an Angel sent by God. Waiting to join Jackson in Heaven are his parents; Timothy \"Jake\" Jacob Craig Aliff and Cheyenne Michele Howell Aliff; his grandparents, Tim and Kim Aliff, and Rev. Curtis and Wanda Howell; great-grandparents, Katie Henley, Mary Howell, and Nancy Aliff; his aunts, Shannon Puckett and husband Bruce, Tammy Hayes and husband Dennis, Cherokee Dooley and husband Tony; uncle Jeremiah Howell and wife Katie, also countless great aunts, uncles, cousins and many other family and friends.

The family would like to give a very special thank you to the staff at the University of Virginia NICU. The love you had for Jackson was evident in the way you cared for him and even in the fights over who was his number one girlfriend. We can never thank you enough for becoming a part of our family these past four months and the love you gave to Jackson and us.

A funeral service will be held 1 PM, Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Walnut Grove Union Church with his Papaw, Rev. Curtis Howell, and Pastor Bob Auxier officiating. In honor of our Turquoise Warrior, the family requests you wear your turquoise. Family and friends are welcome for visitation Friday, February 8, 2013 from 2 to 4 and also 6 to 8 PM at Tharp Funeral Home.
