Jacob Daniel Warrender, 20, of Lynchburg, VA, died Monday, May 28, 2012.
Born Thursday, February 20, 1992 in Lynchburg, VA, Jacob was a son of Rick and Mandy Roberts Warrender.
In addition to his parents, Jacob is survived by maternal grandparents, David and Irene Roberts of Lynchburg, a sister, Sara Warrender, of Lynchburg, a brother, Aaron Warrender and his wife, Brittney, of NAF Atsugi, Japan, a nephew, Conner Warrender, and his best friends Chris Hawkins, and Keina Schweikart, both of Lynchburg.
Jacob was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard and Dorothy Warrender.
Jacob had a contagious smile that lit up his eyes and showed a life that would not be hindered by others around him. He readily laughed at his own mistakes and made his Marine boot camp a humorous experience that he could not wait to share with his family the day he graduated. He was known by his friends as constantly crazy, making every moment memorable. Around the house he was known for his God fearing faith that seemed to shake the walls as well as the vibrant expressions he used to illustrate each situation he faced, encouraging the family with his positive attitude.
A gathering of friends will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 6 p.m. on Main Street at Thomas Road Baptist Church. A celebration of Jacob\"™s life will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Main Sanctuary at Thomas Road with Pastor Jonathan Falwell officiating.
