Jaklyn Martin

Jaklyn Rose Martin, 15, of Bedford, passed away on May 19, 2024 and Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

She was born on June 12, 2008, a daughter of Angela Nicole Martin and Anthony Franklin Lloyd III. Jaklyn was a student at Liberty High School, where she was known and loved among her peers.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Juztice Martin; paternal grandmother, Hazel Callahan; and maternal grandfather, Charles E. Martin.

In addition to her parents, Jaklyn is survived by three siblings, Jakob, Jeremy, and Juno Martin.

After her passing, Jaklyn was able to give the gift of life to at least four people, through organ donation. Even though Jaklyn's spirit is gone, she lives on in the lives she touched.

A Celebration of Jaklyn's Life will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
