James Arnold Kolberg
James Arnold Kolberg, 66, of Lynchburg died Monday March 26, 2012. He was the devoted husband of Barbara Lee Kolberg for 21 years.
James was born June 10, 1945 in Chicago, Ill., the son of the late Aloysius Kolberg and the late Celia Tomczak Kolberg. James worked as the Maintenance Supervisor for Griffin Pipe Foundry and loved animals and was an avid fisherman.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a niece Linda Loera and her husband John of Crownpoint, IN, two great nieces Chrissy and Katie, one great nephew Tony, and numerous cousins, friends, and other loved ones.
The family will hold a private memorial service for James in Wisconsin at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Lynchburg Humane Society 3305 Naval Reserve Road Lynchburg, VA 24501.
