James E. “Jimmy” Nunn, 66, of Lynchburg, Virginia, suddenly passed away on June 1, 2025. He was the son of the late Ray E. “Edd” Nunn and Georgie G. Nunn
Jimmy was born on April 22, 1959, in Martinsville, Virginia. He graduated from Virginia Wesleyan Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. He worked with L.G. Flint Construction Company as Office Manager.
He took great pride in caring for his yard, always keeping it immaculate. A former member of the Patrick Henry Travelers, he traveled internationally with the group, sharing his love of dance across the world. Known for his remarkable memory, he never forgot a birthday, a historical event, or a meaningful moment. He was also an avid car enthusiast, always eager to share his deep knowledge and passion. Truly, he seemed to know a little something about everything. As his beloved companion once said, “Who needs Google when you have a Jimmy?”
Jimmy is survived by his partner, Jeffrey D. Krantz; a sister and brother; special sister, Peggy Brown (Charlie); one niece and two nephews; special nephew, Stephen Brown; and beloved pets, Bubbles, Precious, Pippa, and Smokey.
