James E. Scott

James Edward Scott was born in Madison Heights, VA on November 21, 1945. On July 30, 2018 God in his Devine wisdom sent an angel of mercy to call to eternal rest our loved one James Edward Scott at home with his family at 1716 Meadow Down Drive.

He was the youngest of five children of the late Howard Scott, Sr. and Elloise Scott.  He received Christ as his savior at an early age.

James (Dickie) had a career as a painter for many years. His love for music, dancing and socializing led him to become a charming and charismatic person.  He developed friendship with people from every aspect of life. James (Dickie) was a devoted and loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

We will always remember James (Dickie) by that beautiful smile.

He was preceded in death by his one and only sister the late Edith Scott Page and his oldest brother the late Howard Scott Jr.  He leaves to cherish his loving memories two brothers Frank Scott Sr. (Carolyn) and Elonzo Scott; his one and only daughter Toya Lugo (Rocki); two sons James and Gerald Jones; 4 granddaughters, one grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
