James Earl Tyree

James Earl Tyree, 71, of Madison Heights died Saturday, August 21, 2010. Born in Amherst County, he was the son of the late Frank Tyree and the late Mary Harris Tyree.

He is survived by his children:  Jesse Tyree and wife, Patricia of Madison Heights, Roger Mitchell and wife, Mamie of Concord, Tammy Clarambeau and husband, Del of Sperryville, VA, Lisa Davis of Warrenton, VA, and April Tyree of Lynchburg, 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grand children and a sister, Marie D\"™Andrea of Florida.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 3 sisters.

He was a Mechanic for K & C Trucking and a member of Union Christian Church.

The family will received friends from 7:00 \"" 8:30 pm on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.   A private burial will be at a later date.
