James “Fritz” Frederick Munns

James “Fritz” Frederick Munns, 54, of Lynchburg, Va., passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017.
Fritz was born Saturday, September 1, 1962 in Painesville, Ohio, a son of the late Harold Eugene Munns and Adrienne Eileen Munns. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George Munns.
He is survived by his sisters, Kim Hodges and her husband, Tom, Lee Ann Hill, Mitzi Frady and her husband, Kevin, Betsy Wilson and her husband, Woody, and Mindy Long and her husband, Dave; nieces and nephews, Scott Thacker, Jon-Michael Frady, Randy Mahoney, Wyatt Wilson, Alison Hodges, Nicholas Frady and Katie Long; and his family of co-workers at Automated Conveyor Systems.
Fritz was a true cat lover and spent much of his time caring for strays, just like his beloved cats at home.
A celebration of Fritz’s life will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017 at First Unitarian Church in the chapel. A reception will follow.
