James Keith Sexton, Sr., 74, of Big Island, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015.
He was born on August 25, 1941 to the late George Hurley and Lucy Donna Smith Sexton.
He is survived by his wife, of 53 years, Patsy Creasy Sexton. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Clara (Larry) Nichols, Elizabeth (Printice) Rucker, Sarah (Cary) Sexton and James (Missy) Sexton, Jr; six grandchildren: Christie (Derrick) Pierce, Larry (Leslie) Nichols, Jr, D.J. Floyd, Ammie (Nick) Rucker, Pamela (Donnie) Floyd, Kaytee Rucker and two great grandchildren: Sara Green, and Scarlet Nichols.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Big Island Rescue Squad.
The family received family and friends at their residence in Big Island Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford is assisting the family.
