James Lee Griffith Jr., 36, of Rustburg, VA, died Sunday, April 11, 2021.
He was born Sunday, October 14, 1984 in Lynchburg, VA, James was a son of Sandra Robertson Griffith.
In addition to his mother, James is survived by his grandmother, Linda Fulcher of Rustburg; daughter, Madison Griffith of Lynchburg; son Tyler Hammock of Rustburg; sister, Jennifer Griffith and her daughter, Elizabeth Lee, brother, Jason Griffith of Madison Heights; sister, Candance Conway and her four children, MaKayla, Thomas, Carmello and Chance; sister, Rebekah Newsome and her wife, Megan Gardner of California and grandmother, Bonnie Markham of Lynchburg.
James was caring, loving and big-hearted. His smile was so amazing that when he smiled at you, you would melt. He never met a stranger. Everyone that knew James loved him. There was nothing that James would not do for anybody. Very protective over the ones he loved family and friends; very forgiving and never would turn his back on anyone. James loved everyone unconditionally. He was fun to be with, silly and a GREAT son, brother, and grandson. He loved to look nice but did not judge anyone for the way the looked or dressed. He had an answer for everything and anything. He loved landscaping, football and taking care of his “GranGran” and everyone.
A celebration of James’s life will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Lyn-Dan Heights Ruritan Club, 2360 English Tavern Road, Lynchburg, VA 24501.
