James Marvin Barley, 74, of Hurt, passed away suddenly at Lynchburg General Hospital on January 18, 2017.
Born June 10, 1942 in Altavista, James was a son of James Wilson Barley and Parker King Barley.
James is survived by his wife, Judy Brooks Parks, a son Keith Barley, and two sisters, Jean Barley Chaka Trapasso and Eva Barley Hall, and six nieces and nephews.
James was a true nature lover and award winning nature photographer.
A celebration of James’s life will be held at a later date.
