James Parker Snow, Sr.

James Parker Snow, Sr., 87, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 in Roanoke. He was a life-long member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Lucy and Elmo Snow; and brothers, Philip and Curtis Snow.
He is survived by: his loving and devoted wife of 27 years, Mary Walker Snow; 11 children; 31 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
James now waits the soon resurrection morning when Jesus comes to take us all home to live with Him in those beautiful mansions that He has gone to prepare for those that love Him and keep His commandments.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sat., Dec. 30, 2017 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Visitation for family and friends will also be held at the Mausoleum Chapel, for 1 hour, prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the DAV Honor Guard, 2381 Roanoke Blvd., Salem, VA 24153.
