James Robert Davenport, Jr.

James Robert Davenport, Jr., 54, of Sacramento, CA died on Sunday May 19, 2013. He was the husband of Lori Ann Davenport.

Bobby was born at St. Vincent\"™s Hospital in New York City on October 13, 1958 and as a baby, he and his parents returned to their hometown of Roanoke, VA. In 1969 the family moved to Martinsville, VA, where he graduated from Martinsville High School in 1977 and later moved to Lynchburg. He attended Radford College.

In addition to his wife, Bobby is survived by his parents James Robert Davenport, Sr. and Catherine Wright Davenport of Lynchburg, a sister Cathy Davenport and her husband Jim of Richmond, one aunt, Pringle Davenport of Charlottesville, six cousins: Ali Wieboldt and her husband Tom, Nan, Kit, Mike, and Paul Davenport, and Sara Matthey and her husband Robert.

A Celebration of Bobby\"™s Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday May 25, 2013 at Rivermont Evangelical Presbyterian Church with Dr. Clay Smith officiating.
