James Wesley Anderson
James Wesley \"Jim\" Anderson, 81, of Moneta died on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at the Veterans Medical Center, Salem. He was born in Racine Wisconsin March 27, 1929 a son of the late Anton Anderson and Margaret Looker Anderson.
Jim was a member of Chamblissburg Baptist Church, a retired employee of United Airlines , an Army Veteran of World War II and a Civil War enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Poole Anderson; two sons, Dennis Anderson and his wife, Judy of Floyd and Wade Anderson and his wife, Gwen of Fincastle; two daughters, Tara Campbell and her husband, Mark of Amherst and Susan Anderson of Elliston; also 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2011 at Chamblissburg Baptist Church with the Pastor Ken Scoggins officiating. Burial will be in a Veterans National Cemetery at a later date.
