Jane E. Cunningham
Jane E. Cunningham, 67, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012, at her family\"™s home in Moneta, VA. Born March 28, 1945 in Louisa, Kentucky; she was a daughter of the late William C. Ewers and Josephine Burke Lynch.
She worked as a manager at the Roanoke Valley Visitors Center and Convention Bureau, where she retired in 2010. She attended Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Moneta, with her family. Jane was a dedicated mother and a special friend to many people. She enjoyed cooking for family and loved ones; no special occasion passed without cookies or cakes from Jane.
Jane is survived by her two sons, Steven Cunningham and wife, Patricia of Moneta, VA, and David Cunningham of Richmond, VA; a sister, Neva Allen and husband, Bill of Paducah, KY; two nieces, Rachael Mayes and Rebecca Allen, both of Paducah, KY; three grand-nieces; and a host of great friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice, 2408 Electric Road, Roanoke, VA 24018 or to Saint Francis Service Dogs, 8232 Enon Drive, Roanoke, VA 24019.
A memorial service will be conducted 11 AM, Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Moneta, VA, with the Rev. David Lord officiating.
