Jane Faison Park

Jane Faison Park, 83, passed away on December 31, 2020. Born on December 13, 1937 in Portsmouth, VA. She was the daughter of the late Garland Moss Faison and Anne Jean Morgan and she was also predeceased by her sister Ann Moss Wilkerson and by an infant daughter Cynthia Anne Park.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Richard B. Park; her daughter, Rebecca Pascale and husband Chris; son Keith Park and his wife Cheryl; grandchildren Kirsten, Brooke, Sydney, Cameron, Katelin and Collin; her twin brother Gene Faison and wife Lois; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved cat Missy Blue.
Jane was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and loyal friend to so many. Her most treasured moments were those spent with her family and friends. She loved the outdoors, gardening, animals, and helping others. She was a kind and generous soul who “never met a stranger.”
A family service will be held on January 23, 2021 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where her ashes will be laid to rest in the columbarium. A celebration of Jane’s life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where they were members for over 50 years, Lynchburg Humane Society, Jubilee Family Development Center, or Lynchburg Daily Bread, where she volunteered for many years.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
