Janet Trent Burnley-Yeatts, 87, of Lynchburg passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 surrounded by her family.
Born July 22, 1933 to the late Henry Swanson and Isabel Trent.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husbands Boyed Burnley and Clarence Yeatts.
Janet is survived by her children, Rhonda, David (Bridgett), and Mark (Renee); grandchildren, Rachel Vest (Forrest), April Burnley, Brittney Edwards, Amber Reynolds, and Clinton Souther; great-grandchildren, Carson Vest, Dylan Reynolds, Camden Reynolds, Archer Reynolds, and Calvin Reynolds, and a host of other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held today, Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Virginia Memorial Park.
Donations may be made in Janet’s name to: the Amherst County Humane Society, or the Alzheimer’s Association.
