Jason Todd Kennedy, 42, of Lynchburg, went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2017. He was the husband of Jennifer Divina Kennedy.
Jason was born April 26, 1975, in Charlottesville, a son of the late Donald Kennedy and Claire Fanning Kennedy. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Reese Kennedy, and his son, Cooper Kennedy, his brother, Chris Kennedy, of Covesville, and a large extended family.
He worked as a Job Site Supervisor with Virginia Site Works. Jason converted to Catholicism in 2014 and loved Monsignor McCarron and his St. Thomas More family.
Many remember Jason as a kind, helpful, and good man. He loved to fish, hunt, garden, grill, and tell corny jokes. His greatest gifts, though, were his children.
A visitation will take place at 5:00 pm on Thursday, November 2nd, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Lynchburg. It will be followed by a Funeral Mass at 6:00 at St. Thomas More with Rev. Msgr. Michael D. McCarron officiating. There will be a reception to follow.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas More. Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
