Jean Collier-Moore

Born in Wise County, Virginia, Jean was the daughter of the late Silas and Lou Crawford Collier.  She was a secretary for a food distribution service until retirement.

Jean was a member of the Rebecca Lodge # 41 of Virginia, as well as a member of Heritage United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Collier-Moore is survived by a brother, Franklin Collier and his wife Jeanette of Florence; two devoted nephews, Frank Collier, Jr. Florence and Stephen Collier, Lynchburg, VA; a sister Phyllis Misenan, Michigan and several nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by several brothers and sisters of the Odd Fellows of Virginia.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, on Monday Jan 7, 2013 at Tharp Funeral Home, 220 Breezewood Drive, Lynchburg, with the Rev. Dr. Tom Bryant officiating.
