Jean Maxwell Hunter Casale, 92, of the Elks National Home, Bedford died Friday, April 16, 2010 at the home. She was born on July 7, 1917, in Indian Head, Saskatchewan, Canada a daughter of the late Kirkpatrick Hunter and Mary Dewar Hunter.
Jean was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. She proudly served our country as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Nursing Corps during World War II. She was a retired nurse for the Rubatex Corp.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret \"Peggy\" Hunter.
Jean is survived by her sister Christine Beauchamp, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; two nephews, Jim Beauchamp and Gary Beauchamp both of Manitoba, Canada.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2010, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Moneta, with the Rev. Paul Greer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
