Jeanette Anderson Haskins

Mrs. Jeanette Anderson Haskins, 78, of Lynchburg, transitioned on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

Jeanette was born September 19, 1945, in Lynchburg, VA, to Robert Wise and Virginia Ethel Anderson. Jeanette was preceded in her transition to glory by her daughter, Angela Lynn Williams her surviving children Shaneeka Williams and Roman Franklin, both of Lynchburg, VA.

Jeanette served her family, friends, and church during her life with the love of the Lord God Almighty. The Lord blessed Jeanette with long life.

Jeanette Anderson Haskins is survived by her husband, James Allen Haskin; children in order from oldest to youngest starting with Betty Anderson (Jerry), Raymond Anderson (Nickey Anderson), Anthony Anderson (Devonna), Christopher Oliver Williams (De’Shannon), and Darlene Cheatham (William), niece Teresa Anderson, sisters, Gertrude Fox and Rebecca Watkins, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 
Jeanette was loved by her family. She was the kinkeeper - steadfast in the Lord, there to comfort and care for her family during trials, tribulations, and triumphs. Jeanette reminded her family to turn to the Lord Himself
- to have and maintain a relationship with the Lord, who by Himself has the power to save our souls and our children's souls and our families’ souls. Jeanette encouraged us to look to the Lord. All my help comes from the LORD.

A celebration of Jeanette’s life will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg with Repass to follow the service.
