Jeanne Marie Streby

Jeanne Marie Streby, 74, passed away on December 17, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Leon and Sylvia MacDonald.

Jeanne was born on April 30, 1949, in Towanda, Pennsylvania. She attended school at Towanda Area School District. Jeanne was a long-time resident of Towanda until she recently relocated to Goode, Virginia to live with family.

She was a member of The American Legion Post 42 Ladies Auxiliary of Towanda, Pennsylvania. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, and spending time with family. 

Jeanne is survived by her children, Jenny Sessoms (John Sessoms) and Nicole Kinner (Bryan Kinner); grandchildren; Damon Houser (Jasmin Sanders), Jude Sessoms, Jack Sessoms, Dashel Pike, Olive Kinner and Brady Kinner; Nieces; Paula Allen (Joe Allen), Tara Gardner (Jeremy Gardner), Chris Cowles (Michele Cowles) and many loving friends in the community.

In addition to her parents, Jeanne is predeceased by her husband, Paul Streby; and her brother, David “Davey” MacDonald.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are made in Jeanne’s name to Happy Tails Shelter in Towanda, PA.
