Jeffrey Glenn Spitzer
Jeffrey \"Jeff\" Glenn Spitzer, 58, of Concord departed this life on January 25, 2013. He was the husband of Kathy B. Spitzer for 35 years.
Born December 10, 1954, in Harrisonburg, VA, Jeff was the son of Glenn Spitzer and the late Helen G. Spitzer.
In addition to his wife and father, Jeff is survived by his daughter Lisa Spitzer (Jason), his son Bryan Spitzer (Natalie), grandchildren Adrianna, Noah, and Jolie, all of Concord, his stepmother June Spitzer, a sister Jeannie Isaacs (Steve), a brother Eric Spitzer (Janice), numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also leaves to mourn his brotherhood of firemen and their spouses.
Jeff graduated from Rustburg High School in 1973. After graduation he worked for several printing companies, Seckman printing for the last 25 years, before starting a new career on December 10, 2012, working for Babcock and Wilcox. Jeff enjoyed the outdoors and could be seen most days without shoes on. He was a life member of the Concord Volunteer Fire Department with over 28 years of service, rising to his current rank of Captain. His love for the Fire Department started out early. He would take photos for them at different calls, which grew into a career. An avid photographer and fisherman, his love for the outdoors was also captured on vacation trips with his family to Nags Head, NC.

A Celebration of Jeff\"™s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Concord Volunteer Fire Department, 12573 Richmond HWY, Concord.
