Jeffrey Scott Anderson, 51, of Lynchburg, passed away January 11, 2021, in Lynchburg, after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Lynchburg, he was the son of Allen T. Anderson and Judith N. Anderson of Lynchburg, and Linda Evans and Charles Evans of Forest. He was predeceased by grandparents Edgar and Edith Anderson, and Morris and Esther Langford.
Jeffrey was a graduate of Heritage High School after which he began a long career in the printing industry. His greatest joy in life were his numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephew. He loved each of them with all of his heart and looked forward to his visits with each of them. If there was a baby in the room, Jeff was going to hold it. He recently said that his biggest regret was not having a child of his own, but was thankful for his family. Jeff loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, but no one more than his brother David. His quick wit and infectious laugh will certainly be missed.
In addition to his parents, Jeffrey is survived by brothers Robert A, Anderson and wife Jennifer of Georgia, David W. Anderson and wife Pamela of Forest, and sister Rayna A. Williams and husband Troy of Lynchburg. Jeff is also survived by 8 neices, 5 nephews, 3 great-neices and 1 great nephew, as well as aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.
In honor of Jeffrey’s wishes, no formal services will be held. For those wishing to honor his memory, please consider a donation to St. Judes Children Hospital or The Make a Wish Foundation.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
