Jeffrey Scott Stratton

Jeffrey \"Scott\" Stratton, 26 of Amherst, VA died Sunday, November 7, 2010.

Scott was born May 11, 1984 in Lynchburg, VA, to Donna Ferguson Stratton and the late Steven K. Stratton. He was employed by Areva and worked as a Field Services Technician. Scott had a passion for cars. He enjoyed auto crossing with the Blue Ridge SCCA and most recently enjoyed the BMW Club rallies and events.

 In addition to his mother, Donna and fiance\"™ Doug Joiner of Forest, he is survived by his loving and devoted Granny, Shelby Ferguson of Amherst.

Scott is also survived by a host of other relatives, friends, his Areva family and his black lab puppy Beau.

 The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, November 15, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Home and Crematory, Lynchburg. A celebration of Scott\"™s life led by Rev. Bryan Painter will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment will follow in Briarwood Memorial Gardens.
