Jennings "J.B." Bryant Leebrick

Jennings “J.B.” Bryant Leebrick, (67), went home to be with the Lord on July 6, 2024. He passed away peacefully in his home in Madison Heights surrounded by his family. He was born on November 29, 1956, in Lynchburg, Virginia, son of the late Ray Henry Leebrick, Sr., and Barbara “Leebrick” Gowen. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby S. Woodson, and a niece Candace Michelle Ballowe. 

He is survived by his Fiancé Elizabeth “Beth” Cash of Madison Heights, a daughter, Latrina Leebrick of Lynchburg, a son Jennings Leebrick (Alyssa) of Lynchburg and a Grandson, Micah Johnson of Lynchburg, and a fur baby, Tequlia (TT). 

In addition, he is survived by three siblings, Fonda “Leebrick” Lara, Ray “R.H.” Leebrick (Barbara) and Anne M. Leebrick and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

A funeral service will be conducted July 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights Chapel, officiated by Pastor Charles Edwards. Interment will immediately follow at Mead Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights Chapel.

The family would also like to extend its gratitude and appreciation for all the Doctors and staff at the Alan B. Pearson Cancer Center in Lynchburg and the nurses and staff of Centra Hospice.
