Jerome Jack Colby, 83, of Forest died on Saturday, July 30, 2011. He was the husband of Sondra Colby for 59 years.
Jerome was born in New York, NY to the late Abraham Cohen and Esther Moskowitz Cohen. He owned and worked in the textile business in New York City for 45 years before retiring in Virginia.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Leslie Kozera and her husband David of Lynchburg, a son Scott Colby and his wife Debbie of Westchester, NY, four grandchildren, Alexander and Robert Kozera of Lynchburg, Gregory and Jeffrey Colby of Westchester, NY.
A graveside service will be conducted on Sunday, July 31, 2011 in Beth Joseph Agudauth Sholom Cemetery at 2:00p.m. with Dr. Michael Gillette officiating.
