Jessica Reanee Tucker, 40, of Altavista, VA, died Thursday, December 17, 2020. .
Born Thursday, December 20, 1979 in Lynchburg, Jessica was a daughter of the late Kenneth Wayne Tucker and the late Jacquline McNeil Vaughan.
Jessica is survived by her daughter, Thailei Brandon, two brothers, Michael Tucker and his wife, Michelle, and Brandon Tucker and his wife, Eleanor, two sisters, Billie Jean Tucker and Charlotte Tucker, her grandmother, Ida Louise Tucker, stepfather, David E. Vaughn, stepmother, Michelle Tucker, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Jessica was a loving mother, sister, daughter and friend. She enjoyed reading, knitting and relaxing outdoors. You could often find Jessica hosting parties, listening to music, and spending time with family. She loved to take long drives through Evington while blasting rock and roll music through the radio. Her smile was contagious along with her laughter. Jessica had a great sense of humor. She loved to sing and dance in the car especially to Queen. Jessica Loved life and never shied away from its many opportunities” From her Daughter Thai Brandon.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Friday, January 08, 2021 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory. A Celebration of Jessica’s life will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 09, 2021 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory with Corry Hunt officiating.
