Jessie Baum Selander

Jessie Baum Selander, 89, of Lynchburg, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. She was the wife of Charles Leslie Selander, Jr. Jessie was born in Duval, Ohio on November 11, 1923 a daughter of the late Jesse Baum and the late Essie Somers Baum.

In addition to her husband, Jessie is survived by two daughters, Joan Blanton and husband, Herman of OH and Ann Schultz and husband, Roger of Gretna; one son, Mike Selander and wife Melinda of CO; fifteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Bob Baum and wife, Dorothy of OH and one brother-in-law, Bill Selander and wife, Irene of OH. In addition to her parents, Jessie was predeceased by three sisters and one brother.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Heritage Baptist Church Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Gerald Kroll and Dr. Roger Schultz officiating.
