Jessie “Shanghai” Junior Scott, 69, of Madison Heights, died Thursday, July 12, 2018. He was the husband of Ethel Ferguson Scott.
Born on September 12, 1948 in Amherst County, Va. Jessie was a son of the late Aurelius Scott and the late Josephine Booker Scott.
Along with his wife, Jessie is survived by his daughters, Tina and Newe Kzmguisha and Natasha and James Campbell; his son, Jessie J. and Jennifer Scott, II; a brother, Johnny and Marilyn Scott; Aunt Margaret Scott, seven grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
