Joan Jarrett Womack
Joan Jarrett Womack, 80, of Rustburg, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Born September 28, 1931; she was a daughter of the late J. Elmo Jarrett and Lue Tanksley Jarrett, and the widow of Aubrey George Womack.
Joan is survived by her cousins, Lydia Cole and husband, Rick of Rustburg, and Frances Pruitt of Danville. She is also survived by Ronald and Juanita Reynolds and many other friends.
Joan was a member of Tyreeanna United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church at: 5215 Tyreeanna Road, Lynchburg VA 24501.
A memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Tyreeanna United Methodist Church with Rev. James \"Wimpy\" Martin and Rev. Rick Cole officiating. Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, 434-237-9424.
