John Clifton “Click” Ellis

John Clifton \"Click\" Ellis, 78, of Bedford died Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Bedford Memorial Hospital. He was born in Franklin County on April 6, 1933, a son of the late Raymond Lee Ellis and Ruth Pagans Ellis. He was a retired carpenter and a veteran of the Korean War. Click was preceded in death by his wife, Nance Lee Wood and his son, Ralph Edward Ellis. He is survived by a daughter, Peggy Ellis Cox and her husband, Curtis of Evington; a sister, Barbara Ellis Fielder of Bedford; two grandsons, Chris Ellis and his wife, Leigh Ann of Huddleston and Michael Ellis of Salem; and a great-grandson, Zane Edward Ellis. A special \"thank you\" to his extended family at Oakwood Manor. A Celebration of Click\"™s Life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Quaker Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Donnie G. Glass officiating.
