John Douglas Kinsley, 68, of Lynchburg died Tuesday, August 7, 2018. He was the loving husband of Helen Litchford Kinsley.
John was born on January 13, 1950 in Roanoke, a son of the late John Ellery Kinsley and Helen Southern Kinsley. John worked as a professional mason.
In addition to his wife he is survived by four brothers: Neil Earnest Kinsley of Goode, Terry Kinsley of Salem, Paul Kinsley of Vinton, and Joel Kinsley of Goode, one step-daughter Juliann Staub of Ohio, two step-granddaughters, Rachael Malley and Amanda Perry both of Ohio, three step-great-grandsons, and his “four legged” girl Scarlett.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. tonight, Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg.
A Graveside Service for John will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 10, 2018 at Virginia Memorial Park in Forest.
