John Edward Fisher
John Edward Fisher, 65, of Lynchburg, went to join his wife Donna in heaven on Thursday, April 1, 2010.
Mr. Fisher was born Saturday, November 4, 1944 in Bedford, a son of the late Edward Davis Fisher and Ruth Krantz Fisher. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy. He was retired from Aerofin where he worked in quality control. He was a member of Fairview Christian Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Fisher Adie and her husband, James of Madison Heights, and his grandchildren, Cody Daniell Steuart Adie, Brooke Hannah Adie, and Claire Emily Adie, and three sisters: Marie Fisher, Linda Skarmulis and her husband John, Kay Neil and her husband Sonny.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. D. Jack Hamilton, the Rev. Terry Wornstaff, and the Rev. Al Stewart officiating. Internment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior the service.
