John Edward Foltz

Ed Foltz, 62, of Monroe, died on Friday, May 17, 2013, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Deanna (Dee) Lohr Foltz for 39 years.

Born Monday, April 23, 1951, in Timberville, VA, Ed was the son of the late John E. Foltz, Sr. and the late Ruby Keister Foltz

In addition to his wife, Ed is survived by his daughter, Sara Foltz, of Atlanta, GA,

His son John Michael (Mike) Foltz and his wife, Erin, of Monroe, his granddaughter, Morgan Foltz, of Monroe, his sister, Gay F. Hensley, of McGaheysville, VA, a brother, Eric Lantz, of Broadway, VA, and two nieces: Brooke and Heather Hensley.

Ed was a graduate of Virginia Tech and an employee of Lynchburg Foundry/Intermet for 33 years.

The family will receive friends at a picnic to celebrate Ed\"™s life at 11:30 A.M., Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Morris Orchard, 109 Tobacco Row Lane, Monroe, VA.
