John Henry Irving, Iii
John Henry Irving III, 64, of Amherst passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 12, 2012. John was born on January 30, 1948, in Richmond, VA to the late John Floyd Irving, and Mary Evelyn Smith Irving.
John is survived by his devoted partner, Deborah Faye Frith, his son, William Irving of Colorado Springs, CO and his daughter Mary Jane Irving, of Bluffton, S.C.; his first cousins: Nancy Smith, David L. Smith, Phyllis Riina, Julia Wingfield, Carolyn Smith Jennings, Chuck Irving, Kenny Irving, Bill Brent, Fred Brent and Wayne Brent.
John was the president of MSS Digital Print, Inc. He loved being in the mountains, living on the farm and spending time with his loved ones.
The family will receive friends, Monday, July 16, 2012 from 1:00-2:00 p.m at Central Baptist Church, Lowesville,VA in Amherst County. A service to follow at 2:00 p.m.

Tharp Funeral Home, 118 Commonwealth Drive, Madison Heights, is assisting the family.
