John Joseph Boskoski
John Joseph Boskoski, 82, of Evington died Friday, November 26, 2010 at his residence. Born May 9, 1928 in Freeland, PA, he was a son of the late Lewis and Helen Boskoski.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a daughter Judy Boskoski, and a brother Leonard Boskoski.
John is survived by his wife of 60 years, Claire Betz Boskoski, his children; John Lewis Boskoski and his wife, Donna, of Morgantown, PA, Louise Dunn and her husband, Arthur, of Bedford, Arlene Giggey and her husband, Ronald, of Bedford, and Linda DelGreco and her husband, John, of Summers, CT, fifteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, three sisters, Barbara, Helen, and Alice, and numerous nieces and nephews.
John was a patient, kind and loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, and proudly served our country as a member of the US Navy during World War II. John retired from Hartford, CT police department where he worked for 25 years. His favorite past time was calligraphy and penmanship. He also loved to collect ink stamps.
