John Nick Chryssikos, II, 61 of Bedford, VA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 1, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was the loving husband of the late Patricia Snow Chryssikos.
Nick was born in California, a son of Pauline “Kathy” Chryssikos and the late Lewis Jackson Chryssikos. He earned an associate degree in welding and worked for over 20 years in the industry. He also enjoyed welding as a hobby, creating replicas of insects, motorcycles, and more. Nick loved working on cars and watching NASCAR races. He also loved reading and being outdoors. Spending time at Smith Mountain Lake with his family was one of his favorite things to do.
In addition to his mother, left to cherish Nick’s memory are son, John Patric Chryssikos; step-daughter, Candy Blankenship; siblings, Robert Lewis Chryssikos (Tammy), Patricia Anne Stapf (David), and Lucy Marie Porter; 11 nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and father, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Phillip Chryssikos and Alice Chryssikos Webb.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor John Salley officiating.
