John Bradbury Sinclair

John Bradbury Sinclair, 87, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away on December 3, 2023. He was the husband of Lorraine M. Sinclair for 66 years.

Born on July 23, 1936, in Dover, New Hampshire, John was the son of the late James A. Sinclair and the late Eloise L. Sinclair

In addition to his wife, Lorraine, John is survived by his 5 children: Mark Sinclair, Paul Sinclair, Dwight Sinclair, Cathy Karmel, and Gail Weston, plus his 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

He attended school at Dover High School, graduating in 1954. He began work as an Apprentice Machinist, for Kidder Press in Dover. He took many job positions, including the National Guard (Army), throughout the years, moving his family to New Jersey, then to Maryland and finally to Lynchburg, Virginia, where he worked as a Quality Assurance Specialist for the U.S. Dept. of Defense at B&W, until his retirement in 2000.

John was a Freemason for 60 years. He enjoyed vegetable gardening and attending minor-league baseball games with his wife. After retirement, he helped deliver Meals-on-Wheels.  

The family will be having a private family service gathering.
