Jonathan Paul Gordon

Jonathan Paul Gordon went to be with his Lord on February 3, 2020. He is survived by his loving wife, Jessica Gordon of 10 years. In addition to his wife, he was survived by four children: Josiah, Joyanna, Joshua, and Jeremiah; his parents Byron and Glenda Gordon; one brother Joseph (Sara); mother-in-law Pam Herron; father-in-law Steve Herron; two sisters-in-law Crista Tidwell and Lisa Herron; two brothers-in-law Michael Tidwell and Steven Herron and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was a devout Christian and showed many people how to get closer to the Lord. He loved to go to church. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was steadfast and honest. He was responsible for leading his best friend and business partner, Craig, to the Lord.

A celebration of Jonathan’s life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. Jonathan will lie in repose on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 10-6 p.m. and Saturday prior to the service.

 Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
