Joseph T. Carderelli

Joseph T. Carderelli, age 79, of Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away on June 12, 2024. He was the son of the late Joseph Carderelli and Eunice Shultz Carderelli, and husband of the late Gayle Krchmar Carderelli for 38 years.

Joseph was born on September 24, 1944, in Syracuse, New York. He was a proud veteran in the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserves. He attended Thomas Road Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, gospel music, and cheering on his favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. 

 Joseph is survived by his daughters, Amber Carderelli and Autumn Glover; and son, Tony Carderelli (Amy); grandchildren, Elizabeth Campbell (Zachary), Stephanie Glover, Kathleen Glover and Hannah Carderelli; 12 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Sandra Kramer (Scott), Linda Mason (David), Mark Carderelli (Carolyn), Mike Carderelli (Sharon), and Rosie Boswell (Robbie); numerous other beloved family members and many loving friends in the community.

In addition to his parents and wife, Joseph is predeceased by his son, Timothy Mark Carderelli and grandson, T.K. Carderelli.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 7 P.M.-9 P.M. at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, Virginia. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 1 P.M. at Thomas Road Baptist Church Pate Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Falwell officiating.
