Joseph Hamilton Bryant

Joseph Hamilton Bryant passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 76 in Lynchburg VA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Robert Bryant and Lizzie Ragland Bryant; Sisters, Virginia LeWarne, Alice Vanderpool and Dorothy Whorley; Brothers, Ernest, John Henry and Alfred. He is survived by his twin brother James (Nancy); brother Frank and sister, Barbara Akers along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

 Joe was born and raised in Buckingham County, VA where he graduated from Buckingham County High School before joining the Army in 1969. During his time in the army, he served at several bases around Europe before being discharged in 1972. While serving, he earned the rank of Sergeant and received the National Defense Service Medal.

 After being discharged from the army, he returned to Dilwyn VA, where he worked till, he retired to Campbell County, VA.

The family will be having a Graveside Service at the Bryant Family Cemetery on July 9, 2024 at 11 A.M.
