Joseph Charles Klimczyk, born June 1st, 1955, of Roanoke, VA, formerly Warren, OH, was received into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father and Christ Jesus on December 29th, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents Thaddeus and Anne Klimczyk and his two siblings Vicki Swartz and Ted Klimczyk. He is survived in death by his three siblings Lucy Falatic, Marie Gentosi, and Tom Klimczyk, his two daughters Calli Pittman and Alissa Turner along with his two sons-in-law, Chris Pittman and Paul Turner, and his grandchildren Abigail and Silas Turner.
After battling aggressive cancer for over 3 years, he had prepared many farewell addresses for his family and friends, but the resounding message revealed through his life and from all his writings is his favorite catchphrase “CIMTHOG” or “Christ in me, the hope of glory.” Here is but one of his messages to his family and friends:
“To all my family and friends-The Final Goodbye. My last day has now come and gone, the ashes of my former body to be spread upon the Earth from which it came. My spirit body is now at home with God my Father and precious gift, Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son, who has made this all possible. I have lived a full life. At times, I feel as though I have lived four lifetimes. I am so honored and thankful to have met so many incredible people on my life’s journey. We have all played a part in each other's lives-amazing! I hope and pray that as you all continue each of your journeys, that you would allow our great God to mold and shape you into a beautiful masterpiece crafted by His hand.”
