Josephine Luck Cofer
Josephine Luck Cofer, 89, of Bedford, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012. She was born in Bedford County on October 2, 1922, a daughter of the late James Wellington Luck and Zelma Gladys Arrington Luck. She was the widow of Harry Alton Cofer and a member of Walnut Grove Union Church.
She is survived by her sons, C. Marshall Cofer of Bedford and Clyde M. Cofer of Montvale; a sister, Emily Jo Dooley of Thaxton; also two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Josephine\"™s Life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the Cofer Family Cemetery, Montvale with the Rev. Bob Sowder officiating. Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, (540)-586-3443.
